![]() It then moves onto “We’ve Just Begun to Dream” from the Epcot Center Grand Opening. Hearing Walt’s voice in the park is a decidedly moving experience. The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. The voice of Walt Disney introduces the name of the park: Epcot. Figment, for me, is sort of like Epcot’s spirit animal. The show begins with “One Little Spark” from Journey Into Imagination. That’s because it takes you on a tour of the musical history of the park. There are laser lights, fireworks, and amazing kites that race across the lagoon and look like glowing, living creatures in the sky. If you haven’t seen the show, it’s a celebration of all things Epcot. ![]() It debuted on October 19 and will only run for a few more months, but in that brief time it has crept its way into my heart and made itself comfortable. Luckily, while we wait, there’s another fantastic show to enjoy while visiting Epcot: Epcot Forever. That said, I love Walt Disney’s “Keep Moving Forward” ethic and I know that whatever comes next won’t disappoint. ![]() Like most, I adored Illuminations, and got a little emotional the last time I watched the Earth Globe leave the World Showcase Lagoon. The show will be a celebration of Disney music around the world, and honestly I can’t wait to see it. This spring, Epcot will welcome HarmonioUS, a new nighttime fireworks spectacular. ![]()
