![]() ![]() I felt the printed-on eyes on the He-Man were off in an uncanny way, but on this figure they’re excellent, even when photographed they look good. The high cheekbones, tense mouth, and arched eyebrows that define Evil-Lyn’s facial features are all present and well done. Warning: This review will contain spoilers for MOTU Revelation.Īfter the so-so sculpt on Revelation He-Man and the slightly flawed Skeletor, Evil-Lyn is a turn up for the books. Now third time’s the charm as I take a look at the closest thing Skeletor has to a second in command (or on/off girlfriend depending on which show you’re watching), the evil warrior goddess, Evil-Lyn. I reviewed Masterverse He-Man and Skeletor with mixed results. Anyway, alongside the release of MOTU Revelation, Mattel put out a new MOTU figure line to go with it, “Masterverse”- consisting of six inch figures with more articulation and accessories than previous MOTU toys. ![]() ![]() Did you watch that Masters of the Universe (MOTU) Revelation show on the Netflix? I sort of watched a bit of it while heating up some quiche and I hated it! Where was the classic characters and locations? Why did Man-At-Arms have none of his iconic armour? Why did Orko have black, curly hair and work as a cartoonist? And how come He-Man is hardly in the damn show, and when he is, he has short hair and has fathered a baby girl that they all have to look after in the mother’s abse- wait, I was watching Three Men and a Baby, wasn’t I? There goes all my big money hate clicks. ![]()
